Abstract

The subject of this paper is the employment contract for football coaches in the Republic of Serbia, which serves as the legal foundation for establishing their employment relationships. The aim of this paper

is to highlight several key issues arising from such contracts and the employment relationships they establish. These include the relationship between the essential characteristics of standard employment relationships and those of football coaches, the specificities of football coaches' employment relationships, and an examination of employment contracts as a legal basis for establishing these relationships. The analysis focuses on the provisions of the Sports Law, the Labor Law, and the regulations of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) and the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA).

The aforementioned issues will be analyzed using the normative-dogmatic method, positive law analysis, and the evaluation of various theoretical perspectives. Additionally, certain questions will be examined through the comparative law method, with an emphasis on the comparative legal regulations of relevant issues in countries belonging to the European-continental legal tradition.
